Duveteux Rayonnant

Boom released the new “Duveteux rayonnant” blasers collection, and this is exciting ! (and really a funny French name !) Those models were introduced in august 2012, at Collabor88′s birthday themed on “Baroque”, in flashy crazy colors. This collection’s colors are less “electric”, if you see what I mean I like them a lot !

New basic tee shirts from Izzie’s, lots of colors themed on seasons : Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn lines ! And appliers for mesh breast implants Lolas Tango are available !

I stopped by and completed my [e] favs collection, of course ! Designer Elika Tiramisu announced that everything in the store is being retired and won’t be coming back, she would like to continue moving forward with meshes, her store is full of old sculpted hairstyles and shoes, so a fresh start would be great. It’s your last time to say goodbye to [e]‘s sculpted shoes and hairstyles ! The question is : will the latest mesh hairstyles disapear too ? I guess yes. Only new things accepted in the new store ! Can’t wait to follow Elika’s new projects !

Cute news from Pididdle ! This Sea Maiden Bra, worn in Sea Princess color, is available at Zodiac event : theme is Aquarius this month ! Wasabi Pills created this hairstyle recently, and it is for sale at the store today for Fifty Linden Friday (FLF) event (1 pink hairstyle, and 1 violet hairstyle). The skin I’m wearing is a new VIP group gift from PXL, a variation of Sophia new skin collection.

Mesh implants

I wanted to resume a little the mesh implants trends, so I own hands, feet, hair and boobies mesh implants. I feel like a bionic mesh avatar, ahaha ! I also own the doll mesh avatar from DollCoco and some funny mesh creatures… There are also complete human avatars, like dolls but realistic avatars, replacing the whole system body, or just heads. Ears (regular or elven), horns, tails also exist, those implants are really useful in a second life roleplay. We totally integrated meshes in our everyday second life in 2012. Furniture, clothes, accessories, avatars, implants. Mesh are everywhere, and replaced the sculpts, which were heavy to load and ugly, due to the lack of polygons and the sculpt map technology based on image spectrum thingie, according to me, but I’m willing to go in the details here, I’m no expert !

So, are SLink mesh hands and feet and Lolas Tango mesh breasts the most successful mesh implants in 2012 ? I guess they are. When you go for a walk around the grid, you must have noticed the incredible amount of avatars wearing those implants. It is a success, because they are easy to use, to edit to match your skin tone, thanks to smart HUDs or appliers (what is an applier ? Click a small HUD provided by your skin or clothing brand, it applies the texture to the implant).

I succeed to edit my Lolas boobies to decrease their size and keep the cloth layer quite right, thanks to Aranel Ah’s blog post “Troubleshooting SL Breat Implants” on Boom blog, replying to frequently asked questions about editing mesh breast. Don’t forget to always make a copy of the original implant before editing it !

I don’t think much about spring

I found this top (from a dress) by The Plastik, in a gift at the entry of the store. Boobies applier is available, and it’s really nice. I managed to reduce my boobs size nicely, without texture troubles with Al Vulo skin that I really like, love freckles <3 ! It is january group gift ! Friday I got myself those mesh pants from Boom, and later I remembered RedMint december hair group gift, colors are matching


Yes, it’s true, I don’t think about spring yet ! I’m still living with snow under my feet, and snowflakes dancing in my hair, and I won’t complaint, because I love that ! But I love What Next‘s Spring decor, offered for Four Walls hunt. All items you find during the hunt are 20L$, let me show you my favorites ! I’m refurnishing my home, to prepare for spring but that’s hard to think about spring when snow is still falling, so it’s quite empty for now !

Photoshooting of a Fox

House of Fox  released a new top and pants for Fameshed event, and I love the style. This Symmetric top is available in different colors that I love, metalic colors and this gold marries perfectly the metalic pink leggins. Look at the shape of the pants, I really enjoy the shape and texture quality, really a great job. I think I never had such a sexy bottom ! I had to edit my ankles, a bit of flesh was interfearing with the fabric, but nothing annoying. Here is the photoshooting.

Fanatik

Fanatik is a brand we -should- all know for their architecture creations, very detailled textures and creative buildings. But it’s also a fashion store, mesh clothes and accessories creator, high quality mesh items I discovered in 2012. So this month, I saw on Fanatik’s flickr that they opened a new store, and I have to say it is breathtaking, I love this place, much better than before ! The buildings used on the land are for sale in the store too, take a look ! Welcome to Fanatic !

I fell in love with this red dress, love the details of the front texture, the shoulders’ lace fabric, and the back zipper (not shown here, go try a demo, it’s worth it !). Looks nice with Glam Affair‘s Edward make-up from Amberly skin, I feel like a vampire, a red blood fanatic !


The red spiky shoes are showcased at Fameshed event at the moment. Its has an option to switch the spikes from gold to silver, as you wish ! The leopard version is offered for free as a Group gift at the store. When you join the VIP Group, you can win past group gifts like this dress, shoes and skirt.
